Campaign launch
L’Oréal’s relaunch of its Elvive line needed buzz, but in the beauty industry a product needs more than buzz to succeed— it needs real reviews. We partnered with L’Oréal to create an Influenster VoxBox program that sent the product out in two waves: first as a mystery product to create excitement, then as a traditional sample box. Our goal was to get our users to post, review and share their real experience with the product as it hit the market.
As content strategist for this campaign, I was responsible for creating a flow of content that would keep users in the sampling program engaged enough to test the product, share multiple reviews and post on social media. This included creating a hair damage quiz, producing a video series, creating social content and writing and scheduling regular emails throughout the life of the campaign.
