ESSENCE Magazine

Print contributor

ESSENCE magazine is the number one media company dedicated to serving Black women. As a print contributor, I have the opportunity to pitch articles in addition writing editor-assigned pieces. One such piece was the Girls Trip package, an editorial deep dive into how Black women are exploring new approaches to wellness.

Art Direction

NYC artist, Siko Luz, and I collaborated on creative direction for the original artwork and photography. Our goal was to recreate the otherworldly experience of psychedelics through photography and illustration to compliment the story’s themes.
